| Complement in Chinese can be divided into many different sub-categories and it’ s with the complex structure itself. Chinese and Korean are very different on grammar, especially on complement. Actually, most, scholars just ignore the ’complement’ in Korean grammar. In order to help Korean student understand the complement in Chinese better, we will first introduce the Korean complement in brief, and then explain the means of expression about Chinese complement in South Korean grammar system.This thesis is divided into three parts.First, related researches, contents and purposes of this paper, and the research methods will be briefly introduced.Second, difference between Chinese and Korean grammar will be analysed in detail, especially the complement. Some scholars don’ t think complement is a part of the syntactic constituents and there are so many different opinions about complement in Korean grammar system. So we’11show some of the opinions briefly, then explain the means of expression about Chinese complement in Korean grammar system one by one, find out the expression regularity and study the syntactic constituent. Through summing up all the means of expression, we can see that all different kinds of complement in Chinese can be translated into adverbial phrase or a verb, working as adverbial modifier or predicate in the form of "V/A connective endings (?)ã€ADV+V. N+auxilliary-(?)"or"V+connective endings-(?)+auxilliary verb "Lastly, we’11show the expression regularity in a form and we can see that the complement of Chinese is often used as adverbial modifier or predicate. This is decided by the difference between grammatical features of Chinese and Korean. The summary above, not only can help Korean students understand Chinese complement better, but improve the learning efficiency; At the same time, this can also provide a reference for bilingual study and translation work... |
