The space has always been the core of painting.In considering the space differences,the amount of concerned problems is multiplied by the diversity of definition methods in the field of art.The basic understanding of the objective world of human is constitute by space and time.As the development of time and space is based on certain rules,it is easy to evaluate the development and changes of certain things.However,space and time cannot restrict human’s space consciousness and the painting creation could be a concrete product of the conscious world.Plenty of objects with hidden lingering charm could be presented on the canvas freely with the flow of people’s feeling.As most of the perceptual experiences cannot be expressed by language accurately,images would be a better and more realistic method to express human’s feeling to some extent.Eduardo Naranjo’s artistic creations create a unique and fantasy space by expressing the space of two-dimensional plane in the method of reconstructing the time and space.The form of his painting manifestation is a typical art creation combined the theory with practice,tradition with present and the imagination with reality.He creates unique images to satisfy his creative desire by giving full play to his originality,deconstructing the reality of the existence images and organizing the structure of a picture freely.The illusion and unrealistic contradiction brought with the deviation of objective reality and the synchronicity of different time and space illusions enable us to recognize the essential influence of the time and space factors created by Naranjo on image creation deeply.From the distorted spatio-temporal reconstruction,an appearance which is seemingly real but grotesque,absurd and comical,infinite association beyond time and space and the hidden spirit of his paintings is revealed doubtlessly in chaos and disorder of the picture.The study of Naranjo’s paintinglanguage of time and space reconstruction can not only help us interpret his paintings deeply,but also touch his inner world of emotion.It is also essential for researchers to investigate the painter’s enlightenment on the spatial processing of painting creation as well as his great contributions to surrealist painting and the influence on contemporary artistic language.The article will discuss in 4 chapters:Chapter 1: An overview of spatio-temporal reconstruction,including the definition of space-time,the connotation of spatio-temporal reconstruction and the visual presentation of spatio-temporal reconstruction in painting.Chapter 2: This chapter discusses the construction of time and space in Nalanjo’s paintings.It includes the following parts: 1.the overview of the paintings language;2.Spatial-temporal reconstruction in the form of(formal,spatial,temporal);3.The artistic characteristics of spatio-temporal reconstruction(metaphoral,visual,formal)are discussed in three main points.Chapter 3: A comprehensive analysis of the causes of spatio-temporal reconstruction in Nalanjo’s paintings based on Freud’s aesthetics,the impacts of three western schools of art(Cubism,abstract expressionism and surrealism)and the formation of artistic styles.Chapter 4: The reality enlightenment of Naranjo’s Art,which is not only an empirical study of the digging of individual symbolic language’s characteristics,but also a general exploration of individual painting styles.This exploration leads to an examination and interpretation of the diversified exploration of the modern artistic languages.In this article,we search for the language representation method of the spatiotemporal reconstruction in the contemporary figurative paintings by analyzing the language representation method in the spatio-temporal reconstruction of Naranjo’s paintings.And also provide more perspectives and thinking methods of the value of Spatio-temporal Reconstruction for modern paintings. |
