| The social education activities carried out by the Chinese Communist Party in the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region during the War of counter-Japanese which was one of the most effective practices of the Chinese Communist Party in mobilizing the people.The representative form of this is the establishment and development of the Night School.the Night School in the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region was a model of successful social education during the counter-Japanese period of the War,and it trained the elites in grass roots to control the countryside gradually.When Chinese Workers and Peasants’ Red Army reached the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia region,where the level of culture and education was extremely backward,there were numerous illiterates with the low level of social productivity.Therefore,the Border Region government actively carried out night school education activities.The implementation of night school education activities laid the foundation for the rural autonomy of Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia region,trained a group of fresh rural elites,and further spread the CCP’s political ideas in rural areas.Through night school education,the Chinese Communist Party has practiced the feasibility of taking the mass line at the grass roots,laying a solid foundation for the ultimate victory of the Chinese revolution.The text is divided into three parts: the preface,the main body,and the conclusion.The main body is divided into four parts.The first part is the background of the development of night school education in the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia region.This part mainly discusses the urgency of the development of night schools in the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region from aspects of the production and living standards,cultural and educational conditions in the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia region,the development of the situationof counter-Japanese War,the experience accumulated in the establishment and development of the Night School during the Agrarian Revolutionary War.The second part is an overview of the development of the Night School in Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region,including the principles and policies for the development of night schools and the types of night schools.The third part discusses the tasks undertaken by the Night School education in the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region as well as its characteristics.The tasks undertaken by the Night School in the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region.The characteristics of the Night School education in the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region include the characteristics of the Night School itself and complementation with formal education and other forms of social education.It also provides experience for the development of night schools in other base areas in the War of counter-Japanese.The fourth part summarizes and evaluates the Night School education in the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region during the period of the war of resistance.First of all,we affirm its achievements from the practice of night school education to the contribution of the border district to eliminate illiteracy,mobilize the War of counter-Japanese,enhance the self-consciousness of the people,and the choice of the Chinese Communist Party’s revolutionary path.Secondly,we point out the mistakes from the aspects of textbook content,educators,leadership mobilization,etc.Finally,further uncover the full view and influence of the Night School in the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region. |
