Traditional Chinese culture is a state of etiquette that respects collective honor. The majority of the current "90" college students are only children who having grown up without the companionship of children of the same age,and habitually self-centered.Although college students have strong cultural knowledge during college, they are still short for collectives and interpersonal interactions.Carrying out rich class activities is an effective way to improve college students' collective sense of honor, but in the process of college class activities, there are common problems such as high homogeneity of activities, lack of attraction, weak activity-orientation,lack of theme, monotonous activity forms, and low student participation.Various reasons have led to the development of class activities that have not improved the university students' collective sense of honor. Therefore, based on the analysis of the status characteristics of college students' collective sense of honor, scholars have proposed ways to cultivate collective sense of honor based on how to effectively carry out class activities.Although there are a large number of methods and theories to guide the promotion of college students' collective sense of honor,no empirical research has been conducted on the content structure of collective sense of honor and participation in class activities. Therefore,on the basis of relevant literature research, this paper explores the structure and status quo of the collective sense of honor and the participation of class activities through questionnaires, surveys, and experimental designs.Experimental design examines the relationship between college students' collective sense of honor and participation in class activities. This study reached the following conclusions through questionnaire survey and experimental design:(1)Female college students' collective sense of honor and participation in class activities are significantly higher than that of male college students.(2)Freshmen's collective collective sense of honor and participation in class activities were significantly higher than those of the other three grades.(3)The collective sense of honor of college student party members is significantly higher than that of the Communist Youth League members and the masses. The collective sense of honor of the Communist Youth League members of college students is significantly higher than that of the masses;the participation of college class members and Communist Youth League members in class activities is significantly higher than that of the masses. There was no significant difference in the participation of party members and Communist Youth League members in class activities.(4)The class cadres who served as class cadres had significantly higher levels of collective honour and class activities than those who did not serve as class cadres.(5)Classmates who have served as organizers of class activities have significantly higher levels of collective honour and class activities than those who did not serve as class cadres.(6)The more classes that participate in class activities, the stronger the collective sense of honor and the more active the participation of class activities.(7)The collective sense of honor and class participation of freshman students to juniors and Communist Youth League members are significantly higher than those of the masses. However, the differences in collective honor and class activities of all senior students are not significant.(8)Girls in science(engineering and science)majors participate in class activities significantly higher than boys, while those in liberal arts(humanities and social sciences)and other majors have no significant difference.(9)The higher the college students' collective sense of honor is,the more active their class activities are.
