The Research Of Xue Tao About Receiving And Variation In The West

Xue Tao is known as "the poet of the Tang Dynasty".She is brilliant and has created a lot of excellent poems.Her poems were recognized and appreciated by Chinese scholars all over the world,and became famous overseas.Xue Tao is one of the Chinese ancient poetesses who have received an early attention from the English world.Since the 40 s of the 20 th century,many famous poets and scholars in the west have translated a lot of Xue Tao's works.In addition,some western scholars have created novels featuring Xue Tao as the protagonist.However,due to the influence of different countries,language,culture,psychology,ideology,historical context and many other factors,Xue Tao's poems produced the variation of language,image and theme in the process of translation,dissemination and acceptance abroad.This thesis mainly focuses on the text of Xue Tao's translation of poetry in the English world and the novel text describing Xue Tao's life.It uses the research method of bibliography and the history of thought,and draws on the related theories of hermeneutics and variation,and through the overview of the general survey of the translation and research of Xue Tao in the English world,and the general survey of the research results.An in-depth analysis of representative scholars and representative achievements is made to examine the universal and rich content of Xue Tao's translation and research in the English world,to reveal the characteristics and connotation of Xue Tao's acceptance and variation in the English world,to reveal the personality and laws contained in the English world,and to further examine the oriental and oriental cultures in the field of the other's vision.The paper is divided into three parts.First,the paper gives a general overview of Xue Tao's translation and dissemination in the English world.It combines the historical background and cultural trend of thought,and divides the history of Xue Tao's communication and translation in the English world into three stages: the beginning,the development and the prosperity.The different characteristics are summed up.Then,through the study of Xue Tao's novels in the English world and Xue Tao's poetry in English translation,the phenomenon of Xue Tao's localization in the course of the spread of the English world is analyzed.Finally,from three aspects of cultural misreading,cultural filtering and cultural loss,this paper probes into the variation of Xue Tao's translation and dissemination in the English world,sums up the characteristics of Xue Tao's variation in the process of acceptance and dissemination in the English world,and explores the causes of the variation in depth,and clarifies Xue Tao in the process.The internationalization of the English speaking world brings inspiration to domestic research institutes.
