Nowadays,with the rapid development of Chinese economy,more and more foreigners have begun to learn Chinese.In addition,Internet technology has been developing rapidly,which makes Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language via Internet a new highlight in the process of Chinese promotion abroad.At present time,universities and colleges around the world are widely using the learning platform based on information education technology.University Malaysia Pahang is a research university that advocates the use of information education technology for teaching.Since 2014,the KALAM web-based learning system has been used to reform traditional teaching modes.Using a questionnaire survey as its research method,this paper investigates the Internet interaction status quo of junior Chinese learners on KALAM,a web-based learning platform in University Malaysia Pahang.This paper reveals that more than half of the students have improved their Chinese-learning interests,learned more Chinese vocabulary,and promoted Chinese listening skills.Moreover,those Chinese learners hold that feedback from the listening test enhances the understanding of problems;the interaction with other learners on the forum deepens their understanding of Chinese language;they can realize their shortcomings and merits in the process of Chinese learning and boost language learning sensitivity.At the same time,it also reflects that there are some problems in the web-based interaction of Chinese learning,including the low utilization rate of interactive functions on KALAM,the lack of interactive resources,the sameness of interactive modes,the lack of self-learning awareness,poor independent learning ability on Internet,and delayed feedback from teachers.This paper analyzes such main influencing factors as network accessibility,learning motivation,meta-cognition levels,interactive content,interactive organization,promptness of teachers' feedback,and online interactive atmosphere.Accordingly,this paper offers several suggestions from the perspectives of online platform,students,and teachers.Based on these,several suggestions were made from the perspective of the Internet platform,students,and teachers.This study provides suggestions for reference in hopes of improvingonline learning interaction quality and bettering the learning outcomes.
