| Objective:(1)Investigate the present situation of aggression among prisoners.(2)Explore the differences of family functioning,childhood abuse,early maladaptive schemas between violent and non-violent prisoners.(3)Explore the relevance between childhood abuse,family functioning,early maladaptive schemas and aggression of both violent and non-violent prisoners.Methods: The subjects of this study are 842 prisoners from two prisons in Guangdong.The schema questionnaire,childhood abuse history questionnaire,family functioning questionnaire and aggression scale have been used to survey early maladaptive schemas,family functioning and childhood abuse.The SPSS17.0 is used to analyze data and Amos 17.0 is used for path analysis to construct the path analysis.Results:(1)There are differences in childhood abuse,family functioning,early maladaptive schemas and aggression(p < 0.05)between violence and non-violent prisoners.(2)Emotional abuse affects not only the aggressiveness of violent prisoners,but also the aggressiveness through abandonment,distrust and lack of self-control schema.(3)The family functioning and the physical abuse affect not only the aggression of non-violent prisoners,but also the aggression through distrust,social isolation,failure,lack of self-control,emotional repressive schemas.(4)Emotional response and physical abuse not only directly affect physical aggression of non-violent prisoners,but also indirectly affect it through distrust,lack of selfcontrol and social isolation,failure and emotional repression schemas.(5)The family functioning not only directly affects the anger of non-violent criminal prisoners,but also indirectly affects anger through distrust,social isolation,lack of self-control,dependence,failure schemas.(6)Emotional abuse not only affects the hostility of prisoners of violent crimes,but also indirectly affect physical assault of violent prisoners through abandonment,distrust schemas.Conclusions :(1)Emotional abuse has an important impact on the formation of aggression among violent prisoners.(2)Physical abuse and overall family functioning have an important influence on the formation of aggression of non-violent offenders.(3)We can take schema therapy to prevent recidivism according to diverse types of crimes. |
