The Study Of The Passive Makers On Zhao And Nagen In Junlian Dialect | | Posted on:2019-08-09 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:J Xu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2405330566960876 | Subject:Linguistics and Applied Linguistics | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Taking the passive makers on “Zhao” and “Nagen” in Junlian dialect as the research object,this paper describes and analyzes the characteristics of the two markers on the three planes in details.With the help of grammaticalization theory and semantic graph model of typology,it combs the semantic origin and evolution of markers.On the basis of comparing the differences between the two markers,this paper examines the differences of typicality and causes of the two passive markers."Zhao" is a typical passive marker in Junlian dialect,which is more conducive to the expression of passive semantics and has a wider range and higher frequency of use.Because of the different grammaticalization origins and the principle of "semantic retention",there are differences between the semantic and grammatical functions of the two markers,which affecting the typicality of the markers.The full text is divided into five Chapters.Chapter 1 is introduction.It is a review of existing studies,a brief introduction to Junlian’s human geography and dialect usage,which explains the significance and content of this paper.Chapter 2 is study about the passive sentence of "Zhao" in Junlian dialect,which describes and analyzes the syntactic format of passive marker “Zhao”,the characteristics of predicate component VP and the semantic color of the marker.Chapter 3 is the study about the passive sentence of “Nagen” in Junlian dialect,which describes and analyzes the syntactic format of passive marker "Nagen",the characteristics of the three noun components NP1/NP2/NP3 and the semantic color of the marker.Chapter 4 is the research of the typicality and grammaticalization of "Zhao" and "Nagen".From the synchronic and diachronic aspects,this paper discusses the grammaticalization origins of "Zhao" and "Nagen" and combs the evolution of markers.The semantic graph model of typology is used to verify and explain it.Onthe basis of comparison,the differences of typicality and reasons of the two markers were investigated.Chapter 5 is the conclusion what summarizes the main points of the view,research value,shortcomings and further research direction. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Junlian dialect, passive makers, syntax features, semantic features, typicality | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
