An Empirical Study On Professional Psychological Help-seeking Attitude For Immigrated Adolescents

Immigrated adolescents’ professional psychological help seeking attitude is the internal reaction tendency of psychological counselors and professionals seeking psychological help through psychological conflict or emotional distress.To study the relationship between the professional psychological help-seeking attitudes of the floating youth and their relationship with emotional regulation and self-harm behaviors,explore the impact of professional psychological help attitudes on self-harm behavior,and the relationship between the explicit attitudes and attitudes of the mobile teenagers and the implicit attitudes.It can enrich the content of adolescent psychological research,and can also improve the pertinence of mobile teenagers’ mental health interventions and improve the level of mental health of mobile teenagers.Based on the literature review,this study selected professional attitudes towards psychological assistance as the starting point,and used the self-made “Immigrated Adolescents’ Psychological Attitude Questionnaire”,“Mood Regulation Questionnaire” and “Self-injury Questionnaire” and implicit association test.A survey of 330 middle school students aged between 12-18 years in three schools in Chongqing,where students are immigrated,has reached the following conclusions:(1)Through the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis of self flow adolescent attitude toward seeking professional psychological help questionnaire that adolescents attitude toward seeking professional psychological help consists of 5 dimensions,namely patient evaluation,patient acceptance and willingness,the expected effect,the consultant trust.The Bach alpha coefficient of questionnaire Cronbach’s α was 0.737.(2)The average value of the total psychological aid of immigrant adolescents is 3.19,and the total score of male psychological help seeking is significantly higher than that of girls.The immigrant of adolescent self harm incidence reached 73.3%,male self injury score was significantly higher than girls;junior high school students’ self injury score significantly higher than senior high school students;the account is not in school students self injury score significantly higher than the location of the accounts in the school students;non key school students scored significantly higher than the focus of self harm school students.(3)There is a significant negative correlation between the attitude toward seeking professional psychological help and self injury,attitude toward seeking professional psychological help and emotion regulation tapes and cognitive reappraisal has significant positive correlation between the dimensions of emotion regulation tapes,self restrain and self injury dimensions were significant positive correlation,there is significant negative correlation between cognitive reappraisal and behavioral dimensions of catharsis and self injury.(4)The cognitive reassessment dimension of emotion regulation plays a part of mediating role in the professional psychological help seeking attitude and the self injury of the immigrated adolescents.(5)Implicit attitudes seeking professional psychological help have significant differences in implicit latitude in implicit attitudes,while implicit emotions do not reach significant levels.The correlation between implicit and explicit attitudes is not significant and they are independent of each other.
