Report On Translation Of Entrepreneurial Economics(Chapter Two And Chapter Three)

This paper is a report on the translation of the book entitled Entrepreneurial Economics edited by Alexander Tabarrok.The source text is an excerpt from the second chapter Macro Markets and Financial Security and the third chapter Gene Insurance.By introducing the financial security of individuals under macro market and the economics in gene insurance,the editor the readers shows how to solve the problems in an economic way.This book deals with economic problems,and it is a non-literary text.Newmark’s a correlative approach to translation is employed as a guiding theory during the translation process.The translator analyzes the problems encountered in translation and explains the translation skills.This report is divided into four chapters: Chapter One is about the background of the project;Chapter Two is an introduction to the contents and the features of the source text;Chapter Three mainly consists of the guiding theory,the translation skills such as division of clauses and conversion of the passive voice as solutions,with some examples involved in the problem-solving process;Chapter Four is the conclusion of the project.
