A Brief Discussion On The Regional Characteristics In The Creation Of Landscape Oil Painting

As a Western painting form,oil painting was introduced into China for hundred years.Its unique artistic language and form have gradually integrated into the Chinese traditional culture,then to present the regional context of Chinese oil painting.As one of the branches of oil painting,landscape oil painting gets more distinct in the aspect of its regional characteristics.The geographical environment,the traditional culture and the folk art,all of them have developed into own characteristic locally.The landscape oil painting in ancient town is one of the carriers with this characteristic.With the development of the economy and the rise of the trend of reunification,the residents in ancient towns have become an aspiration where people gradually tend to pursue the historical traces and the memory.In recent years,regardless of the landscape painting and painting activities or ancient town houses,all of them are one of the most popular site for painters.More and more residents' paintings in ancient towns have increasingly attracted people's attention.More ancient town residential theme paintings could be found in the national art exhibition.Taking the creation of a series of landscape paintings in the ancient town as a practice object,The author explores and studies the regional characteristics of landscape oil painting and interpret the differences in regional performance and to influence the creation of landscape oil painting from the regional characteristics of landscape oil painting,to explain the aesthetic differences of the ancients in the ancient towns in the South and the north and its influence on the landscape painting.The research purpose is to encourage more landscape oil creators to take the initiative to put personal feelings from the regional factors in a comprehensive and accurate way,and create more excellent works of ancient town,so that it can embody the artistic value of the residential landscape oil painting of ancient town in the process of the localization of Chinese oil painting.This paper centers around the resident of ancient town,to discuss the regional context,the ancient town residential landscape oil painting performance of the series environment through four parts.The first part describes the influence of regional characteristics on the creation of landscape oil painting from the natural and humanistic factors of the ancient town.The second part makes an analysis on the regional characteristics of the landscape oil painting in the ancient town and takes residential landscape painting some representative works as the main analysis object of comparative study in ancient town of Guangdong and Guangxi to make a comparison to highlight the characteristics of regional characteristics in the creation of landscape oil painting.The third part illustrates the artistic value and practical significance of the study of residential landscape oil painting of the ancient town in the process of the localization of Chinese oil painting.The last part of the article takes the author's oil painting creation process as the topic,and gives a brief description of the feeling and Reflection on the creation of a series of landscape paintings in the ancient town.
