With the increasing popularity of the Internet and mobile learning media, the development of education and foreign language education is facing a new change from the traditional learning to the ubiquitous learning. As a new learning model, the ubiquitous learning has an enormous impact on resource sharing, personalized learning and collaborative learning.Furthermore, some scholars point out that favorable emotional experience can be obtained from this learning model. For foreign language learning, the research on this subject is bound to play a positive and beneficial role in stimulating learning interest of learners. This study focuses on the impact of the ubiquitous learning on learners' emotional experiences.By conducting an empirical study based on the questionnaire survey approach of 271 senior English majors from one foreign language university with English writing course as a target carrier, the study carries out an in-depth comparative analysis on learners' emotional experiences from three dimensions(cognition, emotion and behavior)under traditional and ubiquitous learning models. The author analyzes the differences and discusses the causes of the changes of emotional experiences. The effects of student-oriented learning environment, authentic and engaging teaching materials and cooperative learning method for enhancing learners' positive emotional experience are demonstrated in this thesis. The research results show that the ubiquitous learning makes it easier for learners to produce a positive emotional experience and it is also conducive to carry out English writing tasks. In foreign language learning, there emerges an interdisciplinary significance in the research to combine ubiquitous technology with the study of psychological factors. This thesis aims to provide a reference case for related researches and to make some contribution to introducing the concepts and methods of ubiquitous learning into traditional foreign language teaching in order to facilitate the construction of a learning society.
