Chinese diet culture is a long and profound culture.It not only tells about the various processes of food production,but also shows the Chinese individuality and tradition,such as the catering aesthetic fashion,the national characteristics,the Confucian culture,the concept of traditional Chinese medicine health preservation and so on.Based on the above characteristics,diet culture and documentaries are perfectly integrated.Through vivid and authentic images,audiences can re recognize Chinese food culture and convey Chinese ideology of food,family,nature and society.In 2012,after "tongue on China" launched,"Looking for the taste of Shunde","Xinjiang will taste","taste of Beijing","Chongqing" on the tip of a large number of the birth of the documentary set off to the diet culture as the core of the documentary boom.As a powerful means to enhance the national soft power,the documentary of food culture has achieved the cross cultural communication and showed the colorful Chinese traditional culture to the whole world.Based on the diet culture documentary overview,narrative focus and unique audio-visual language and cultural identity and Chinese were analyzed,in order to help the deep research and the creation of this kind of documentary,for the spread of food culture has deep Chinese spleen.
