The Study On The Beauty Of Brushwork In Oil Painting-Inspiration For My Creation

This article aims to explore the beauty of brushstrokes,such as rhythm beauty,abstract beauty,and heavy beauty.These types of beauty are related to the thickness,shape,color variations,and strength and speed of paintbrushes.Take the works of six oil painters such as Nicolas de Stael as examples to experience the different beauty of his brush strokes.And to analyze the expressive methods of the beauty of brushstrokes in multiple-level and multiple-angle.For example,in his oil painting "Composition",the block-like strokes are arranged according to a certain order.They are large,smal,bright and dark,with a musical rhythm.The strokes are superimposed on each other to present rich colors and to enhance the brightness and darkness of the picture.Apply the results of these strokes to mine "Hangzhou G20" series of works.Dot-like strokes rub together and permeate each other.The vertical arrangement of strokes forms a broad and narrow line of abstract beauty.Block-like strokes collide with each other and layers of layers reflect the heavy beauty.Difference of thicknesses,mutualism of strokes,warm and cold changes,fresh gray colors contrast forms the rhythm beauty...The varied strokes make the picture clear,with strong visual effects and abundant emotional expression.
