A Study On Numerals In Dongwang Tibetan

In view of the fact that no systematic research has been done on the system of Tibetan numerals from the grammatical perspective,and this paper focus on DongwangTibetan is a research object.By means of analysis of descriptions,comparis on of languages and data statistics to comprehensive analyses the structure,function,word order,and contact phenomena of numerals.The thesis is divided into five parts: The first part includes the research methods,objects,significance,and innovation,as well as the current status and the shortcomings of the study of Tibetan numerals.The second part divides the numerals of Dongwang into five categories: cardinal number,ordinal number,approximate number,multiple,fraction and so on,and narrates the structural characteristics of each type of numerals.The third part is the function of numerals,including the five functions of syntax,wor d formation,culture,rhetoric and rhythm and so on.The fourth part isthe case of the order of numerals,which mainly introduces the combination of eight kinds of numerals and other parts of speech,and thenanalyzes the question of the order of "numeral,quantifier and noun".The fifth part analyzes the borrowing phenomenon of Dongwang Tibetan numerals from the perspective of language contact.In addition,this article also focus on the analysis of the differences in use of the special numerals "one" and "two" and the connecting components of the synthetic numerals.This paper tries to deepen the understanding of Tibetan Numerals and promote the study of Tibetan grammar through the above research,which provides a comparative basis for the study of Numerals of Chinese-Tibetan language.
