The Anti-japanese War Propaganda And Its Influences On National Spirit Mobilization Of Ta Kung Pao(1931-1936)

From the September 18 thIncident to the North China Incident,China had been invaded by Japan seriously and continually from 1931-1936.But the Kuomintang government pined their faith on the so-called international mediation regardless of the severe situation and repeatedly forbade to Japan’s aggression.What’s worse,they actively launched a civi war and focused on the encircling and killing of the red base areas.facing the intensively worse circumstance,the "Ta Kung Pao",with its professionalism of journalism and the patriotism of the traditional literati who care for the country and the people,throw itself into the breach under such circumstances and used its own objective reports to go straight to the heart of the matter to inspire and encourage the army and civilians to fight the war well and laid the foundation of the mobilization in the war for the nationwide army and people as well as the comprehensive war of total resistance and the formation of the anti-Japanese national united front.In addition to the part of introduction,conclusion,This thesis consist of three chapters.The first chapter is "the current situations and the changes of public opinion from 1931 to 1936." which describes the current circumstance and changes in China from the Jinan Tragedy to the Suiyuan Campaign.This chapter has been separated into two parts including the Japanese aggressor’s increasingly serious invasion policy and how the Kuomintang government changed their policies and attitudes with Japanese serious invasion.A general review and narration of the current situation confronted of Ta Kung Pao from 1931 to 1936.The second chapter,"Ta Kung Pao" propaganda of war”,is divided into two parts,which respectively explains the origin and development of "Ta Kung Pao",as well as the narration of "Ta Kung Pao" in the period of "September 18 th incident " and "January 28 th incident" and the war of resistance against Japan in the North China Incident.Chapter Three,"The Impact of the Anti-Japanese War Propaganda on the Nationals," fall into two parts.form the perspectives of the propaganda and achievements of fund-raising activities held by front-line soldiers and the "Reader’s Forum" from the famous column of Ta Kung Pao,this chapter illustrates the influences and the interaction of Ta Kung Pao in the publicity on the audience in order to have a glimpse of the effectiveness of the mobilization to the people in Ta Kung Pao.
