Ran Zhengwan is one of the most outstanding writers in Guizhou's literary world in recent years.Because of the insistence on pure literature and the pursuit of the ultimate meaning of literature,he wrote the people's life on this vast expanse of land in northern Guizhou.The most unique artistic expression of his work is the description of "misery".Not only displays the spirit of poverty and suffering in content,but also using artistic techniques that combine reality with imagination,plots and details,reality and absurdity,expresses the transcendence of the state of suffering is for achieving the effect of deep redemption of suffering and deep reflection on the meaning of life.Therefore,this paper will focus on the "difficult narrative" of his novel:This paper consists of three parts: the introduction,the text and the conclusion.The introductory part mainly elaborates the significance of this topic,current research status,research methods and purpose of this paper.The body part consists of four chapters,the first chapter defines the concept of "narration of suffering",combating the “Narration of Suffering” in Chinese Modern and Contemporary Hundred Years Literatu-re.At the same time,it summarizes the unique narrative in his work.The second ch-apter focuses on text analysis,summarize the four forms of suffering presented in the novel,including nature,spirit,culture and society.It reveals the situation in which people at the bottom of northern Guizhou were physically and spiritually tortured in t-he difficult living environment and the ignorant folk customs.The third chapter is ba-sed on narratological theory,analysis the artistic expression of the narrative of sufferi-ng,Analyzing the Artistic Uniqueness of His Works from Three Aspects: Narrative I magery,Narrative Language,and Narrative Structure.Chapter IV discusses the writing value of suffering narratives.The epilogue part points out that the suffering writing's bigge st ac-hievement is not whether he found the liberation,his exploring behavior itself is the b-e st proof of spiritual strength of human perseverance.
