The Ming Dynasty's retro movement lasted about a century and a half after the formal rise of Hongzhi in the late Ming dynasty with curl of the reverberation. The retro trend of the peak period swept through the literary world. In the field of opera,Li Kaixian clearly put forward that "both the Jin and the Yuan Dynasty shall prevail." As the representative of "one generation of literature," Yuan Qu became the object of advocating, countering and imitating in the creation and criticism of Ming opera,"Zong Yuan " phenomenon.Drama criticism in the Ming Dynasty is mainly based on two points: one is the criticism of the works of the Yuan Dynasty dramas, the vertical model of classic works;the other is the quality of the drama of the Times for the commentary on the merits of the commentary. This paper firstly clarifies the background of the "Zong Yuan" thought of the composer in the Ming Dynasty and reveals the inevitability of Ming Zong drama criticizing "Zong Yuan" from the prosperous scene of the creation of the Yuan Dynasty and the development of the Ming Dynasty drama.Secondly, from the perspective of historical change,we make an overall combing and vertical exposition of the stylistic features of Ming Dynasty drama criticism of the "Zong Yuan" thought in its hair, flourish, climax and potential period.Thirdly, from the horizontal analysis of Ming opera criticism, the angle of his "Zong Yuan" thought mainly focuses on three aspects: the battle between famous artists, the battle between famous drama and the law.Through the horizontal combination of diachronic vertical and synchronicity,we can understand more clearly and clearly that the criticism of the drama in the Ming Dynasty centered on the "Zong Yuan" thought.
