| To a certain extent,interdisciplinary research can not only solve the flaws brought about by the complexity of research,but also mobilizes every knowledge involved in the field and brings into playing the expertise of each field.In recent years,cross-disciplines have changed the past discipline research frameworks with an astonishing development trend.Under the background of interdisciplinary and cross-cultural contemporary education,this thesis attempts to introduce the sociological concept of habitus into the analysis of translated texts and the translator's individual translating practice,in order to broaden new horizons and new heights of domestic research on foreign outstanding literature products.Taking Zhu Shenghao's translation of Shakespeare's late romantic legend The Tempest as a model.This thesis analyzes how Zhu Shenghao's habitus,which is one of the most important concepts of sociology,was based on historical accumulation in the process of translating and enriched his translated text of The Tempest.Zhu's habitus guides the production of his translation activities,and plays an actual role in building up new generative principle of translation standard-his theory of verve.Through Zhu Shenghao's text selection of Shakespeare's plays as original texts and Zhu Shenghao's translation practice of The Tempest from the perspective of language use and translation thoughts.The thesis finds out that the motivation and perseverance of translating Shakespeare's The Tempest are mainly influenced by the external circumstances working with the translator's personal moods including a great sense of patriotism inside him.From the linguistic level,there exists a fact that Zhu Shenghao mainly adopted domestication strategy when dealing with the translation of western images with cultural meaning conveyed via puns and metaphors as well as personal appellations mainly as to the second person appellation in his Chinese version.At the same time,Zhu Shenghao approached his translation of The Tempest with the guidance of his theory of verve as well as his own recognition,enrichment and reconstruction of Mao Dun's theory of verve.Whether having been domesticated or guided by the translation theory of verve,Zhu Shenghao's translation version of The Tempest can't be without a translator's further understanding of the actual circumstances,and it also indicates how his cognitive understanding of the play came and how the audience's needs were met,meanwhile,it could be attributed greatly to his strong bilingual skills.After having drawn close to what he has done in the duration of translating The Tempest,the reasons why Zhu Shenghao preferred Shakespeare's works resulted from both subjective and objective factors are much reliable and dependable.This thesis is mainly divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly summarizes its research background,research significance and methods as well as the structure of the thesis.The second chapter is an integrated review and combing of the habitus at home and abroad and the cross-discipline of translation studies,and summarizes the shortcomings of current domestic research.The third chapter explains the supporting concept and its related factors by means of demonstrating the definitions of habitus and the relevance between translation and habitus to analyze the relationship between the two disciplines.The fourth chapter,as the main part of the thesis,takes Shakespearean drama The Tempest as an example,starting from the concept of habitus,analyzing the multiple factors that influence Zhu Shenghao's choice of subjective and objective factors to the specific translation practice.Finally,the fifth chapter summarizes the study,and proposes where we should go further to open up new perspectives to carry out critical analysis and research of Shakespeare's drama literature. |
