With the introduction of functional teaching methods into the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in China,the theoretical and practical activities of organizing the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language on the basis of "functional items" have been greatly developed.This paper selects the "remind" function item in the functional list of teaching Chinese as a foreign language as the researching object,guided by the relevant theories of functionalist linguistics,structuralist linguistics,second language teaching and so on.According to the different purpose of reminding,this paper divides the expression mode of "remind" function item into four categories,and makes an investigation and analysis of these four kinds of expressions from three aspects of form,semantics and pragmatics,among which,Emphasis is placed on the pragmatic characteristics of each form of expression.This paper also discusses the phenomenon of errors in the acquisition of these expressions by foreign students,analyzes the errors,finds out the causes of such errors,and puts forward some targeted teaching suggestions to explore the teaching of "reminding" function items.
