Loneliness is the subjective negative psychological feelings of the individual in the social network due to the lack of satisfactory interpersonal relationships.In order to better prevent adolescent loneliness,this study selected three variables: parenting behavior,self-disclosure,and friendship quality to examine the factors behind the loneliness of adolescents and provide theoretical evidence for effective prevention and control of adolescent loneliness.In this study,656 people from a high school in Qingdao were selected through convenient sampling.Parents’ Parenting Behavior Scale,Self-disclosure Scale,Friendship Quality Scale,and Loneliness Scale were used to measure the students in the three grades of senior high school.The following results were obtained:(1)High school students have the strongest sense of loneliness,followed by high school students,and the weakest are high school students.(2)The level of loneliness of students whose father’s education level is high school and above is significantly lower than that of students whose father’s education level is lower than junior high school and below;the level of loneliness of mothers who have received education in junior high school and above is significantly lower than that of mothers.Educational level elementary school students and below.(3)Parental rearing behavior has a direct effect on loneliness;self-disclosure plays an intermediary role between parents’ negative parenting behavior and loneliness;friendship quality plays an intermediary role between parents’ active parenting behavior and loneliness.Self-disclosure and friendship quality play a chain-mediated role between parents’ parenting behavior and loneliness.
