The Analyse On The Relationship Among Rejection Sensitivity,Friendship Quality,Self Esteem And Loneliness Of High School Students

Rejection sensitivity refers to the individual sensitivity of encountering others' rejection and possible rejection,usually leads to negative emotions of individuals and the bad social function,the individual who is high rejection sensitivity shows higher negative(such as depression,loneliness)and poor social adaptation.High school students are in a special period,the quality of friendship in the process of peer interaction will affect the individual's emotional experience,including loneliness.The research shows that there is a certain internal relation between rejection sensitivity and friendship quality and loneliness.Individual difference(self-esteem)plays a role in the process of the contact.Therefore,this study adopts the rejection sensitivity questionnaire,friendship quality questionnaire,self-esteem scale and loneliness questionnaire survey of 566 senior high school students in Heilongjiang Province,to explore the relationship among rejection sensitivity,friendship quality,self-esteem and loneliness,and the intermediary role that self-esteem plays between rejection sensitivity and loneliness,the intermediary role that self-esteem plays between friendship quality and loneliness.Research shows:(1).The reliability and validity of rejection sensitivity questionnaire,friendship quality questionnaire,self-esteem scale and loneliness questionnaire were acceptable,and these instruments were applied to this study.(2).There are significant differences on the source of students in rejection sensitivity,loneliness and self-esteem;there are significant differences on the only child in rejection sensitivity;there are significant differences on the student cadres in friendship quality,self-esteem;there are significant differences on grade in self-esteem,Specifically,the self-esteem of junior and senior is higher than that of sophomore and there is no significant difference in self-esteem between junior and senior.(3).The rejection sensitivity could significantly and positively predict loneliness,rejection sensitivity is negatively related to self-esteem,friendship quality,self-esteem is positively related to friendship quality,self esteem and friendship quality was negatively correlated to loneliness.(4).Self-esteem plays a partial mediating role between rejection sensitivity and loneliness;self-esteem plays a partial mediating role between friendship quality and loneliness.
