Research On The Aesthetic Orientation And Humanistic Value Of Chinese Independent Documentary

This thesis takes the Chinese Mainland independent documentary produced in the 1990's as the research object.In present China,independent documentary exists in the form of supplement and opposite with mainstream documentary.It expresses the creator's rational thinking about social life and human destiny through the way of image,it has more independent spirit and humanistic concern.In the large family of documentaries,the independent documentary and the official mainstream documentary supplement each other,studying the concept and characteristics of the independent documentary.The course of development not only has important textual significance for itself,but also can be used for reference for official mainstream documentaries;second,the Chinese Mainland independent documentaries have their special development background.The aesthetic orientation and the humanistic value have the characteristics and the significance which other image types do not have,regarding these two aspects as the key research object,is very important to enrich the entire documentary research present situation.The research method of this thesis is mainly literature analysis method combined with case analysis method,and draw lessons from aesthetics,philosophy,sociology and other disciplines.This thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is an overview of China's independent documentary.This part mainly defines the concept,connotation extension and development of Chinese independent documentary.Among them,the course of development is divided into four stages: the exploration period dominated by elite culture,the period of introspection and conscious maturity,the popular period ofpopular DV,and the period of extensive dissemination of network new media blessing.The second part,the Chinese independent documentary aesthetic orientation research.In this part,the aesthetic orientation of Chinese independent documentary is divided into documentary and direct shooting techniques,populace and marginalization of subject selection,poetic and experimental image character.The individualization and fragmentation of the beauty of memory are discussed in detail,and the characteristics of each aesthetic orientation are analyzed in detail in combination with the specific works.The third part,the Chinese independent documentary humanities value research.In this part,the humanistic value of China's independent documentary is divided into three aspects: criticism and reflection of elite consciousness,concern and promotion of public stand,mirror image and reflection of social problems.The fourth part,the Chinese independent documentary question introspection.This part mainly includes three aspects: the deficiency of the development of China's independent documentary itself,the troubles of the external environment and the strategy of solving the problem.First of all,the shortcomings of its own development include the moral and ethical dilemma,the overflow of the marginalization of the material,the pandering to the right to speak in the West;secondly,the external environment includes the difficulty of the source of funds and the narrow channel of broadcasting.Finally,three suggestions are given to solve the problems,which are to improve the creators' professional skills and theoretical level,to build a perfect creative platform and broadcast channels.Promote cultural confidence and learn from foreign production experience.Finally,the conclusion is to summarize the full text.
