The Translation Study On Chinese And Janpanese Catchwords

As a lexical phenomenon,catchwords reflect the problems and things that people in a country or a region generally pay attention to in a certain period of time,covering politics,economy,culture and other aspects.At present,researches on popular words at home and abroad are mostly carried out from the perspectives of etymology and word formation,and the author will explore them from the perspective of Japanese and Chinese translation of popular words.Every year China's mainstream media or learning website will publish Chinese popular Japanese translation of the Chinese and Japanese words,but different media to release the buzzwords in the target language is different.What kind of translation is more accurate? How to translate the more appropriate catchphrase translation? This is the question that this article wants to explore.In order to explore the translation methods of Chinese and Japanese popular language,this paper uses functional equivalence theory and translation criticism theory as the theoretical basis,and uses deductive and inductive methods to study the annual popular language of China's 2015-2017 year's "chewing and chewing" magazine and the U-CAN new language and popular language award Review Conference."People's China","Xinhua","the Japanese language channel","the people's network Japanese version",China International Radio,and the different versions of the popular language and translation methods published by the media,such as Chinese station,News-Post seven,and other media,have been compared and analyzed one by one.And some examples are given to illustrate the translation methods commonly used in the translation of Chinese catchwords into Japanese,as well as the commonly used methods of translation of Japanese popular words into Chinese.At the end,a set of popular translation methods,namely,direct translation,direct translation and annotation,and transliteration,are generally summed up in the Japanese and Chinese translation days.It is hoped that the translation strategy can provide some reference for the translation of popular language in the future major media.
