The Procreate Narrations In Ming-qing Vernacular Novels

There are a lot of procreate narrations in Ming-Qing vernacular novels.This paper try to summarize the procreate narrations,and study the origin,features and functions of the procreate narrations.First part is the summarization of the procreate narrations in Ming-Qing vernacular novels.The procreate narrations can be divided into general procreate narrations and magical procreate narrations.And there are many small types at these two procreate narrations.General procreate narrations includes phenomenons,concepts,customs and effects.Magical procreate narrations includes magical pregnancy and magical parturition.Secondly,this paper try to find out the cause of the procreate narrations in Ming-Qing vernacular novels.The formation of the procreate narrations is decided by the ancient Chinese literary history and the social atmosphere at Ming and Qing dynasties.The ancient Chinese mythology,poetry,and historical biography played a foundation role.The family style and religion of Ming and Qing dynasties played an influential role.Part three does study on the features of the procreate narrations in Ming-Qing vernacular novels.It has many features,such as stereotyped narration,realistic narration and romantic narration.The position of the procreate narrations is relatively stable in the novels,and it forms the stereotyped narration in different kinds of stories.In the view of the modern literary theory,the general procreate narrations and magical procreate narrations belong to realism and romanticism respectively.Finally,is the functions of the procreate narrations in Ming-Qing vernacular novels.It has three functions,narrating the story,shaping the characters,and communication the thoughts.The procreate narrations can be used as many narrative elements,and play the function of annotation narrative process,series narrative component and highlighting narrative focus.The procreate narrations can shape the characters in novels,such as the couples,the babies,the relatives of the two families,the monks and nuns,the doctors and other people around the reproductive activities.The procreate narrations can be combined with different themes to form a more extensive social appearance,ethical and moral emphasis,religious theme promotion and other functions.
