An Experimental Study Of The Effects Of Teaching Games On English Learning For Junior One Student

According to the present requirements of syllabus and curriculum standard,English is a necessary course in junior middle schools.At this stage,English study laid the foundation for the future and played a role.For the students in junior one,they are in the initial stage;this stage is the important stage for cultivating the interest in English.The traditional teaching methods often focus on giving the knowledge to students,and Ignore that the students may be tired and bored in learning English,so it can prevent their interests in English study.This paper connects the English teaching materials of junior one and curriculum standard.And we analyze the situation of the junior one student.We have studied the English teaching games in middle school English teaching.So we can find some suitable teaching methods and put them in the classes.These methods can improve students' interests and their academic performances.The author compared two questionnaires of the students' attitudes towards the teaching games,and analyzed academic performances in the month exam.The result of this study is that teaching games can play an important role for the junior one student in learning English,especially for the medium scale students.Teaching games can help them improve their interests in learning English.So the teaching methods can improve the students' learning enthusiasm,reduce students' learning burnout,and achieve the purpose of learning in happiness.This paper mainly used the method of observation,experiment,and investigation method as the main research method.Through the empirical investigation of the grade seven English classes,we can help teachers to design some English teaching games to improve students' enthusiasm and initiative in English.And it can make the English classes be more colorful.
