| In 2017,China’s movie box office broke through 50 billion yuan for the first time in the box office.The movie War Wolf 2 sparked the explosion of last year’s movie market and public opinion market,continuously refreshing the Chinese cinematic records,and finally topped the Chinese movie box office with5.68 billion yuan.And successfully entered the world’s top 100 at the box office.With the deepening of the impact of the "Internet Plus Era" and the commercialization of cultural content on the film industry,a new upsurge of IP(Intellectual Property)Films has emerged in the Chinese film industry.Classical literary texts have always been the most important source of adaptation of traditional Chinese films.Under the new cultural context formed in the Internet era,a variety of non-literary types of cultural and artistic forms,such as stage plays,multi-party capital-driven and multi-screen interactions of multi-media,television dramas,variety shows,music,and ACG(Animation,Comic and Games)culture,have become the source of film adaptation with brand power and influence.Non-literary IP Films has brought new driving forces to the development of domestic film content.This paper mainly states the development status of the domestic film market in recent years and focuses on non-literary types of IP-adapted films.It reviews and summarizes the current status quo of domestic IP Films.It mainly studies from the following aspects:First of all,through the interpretation of the concept of non-literary IP Films,it clarifies its connotation and extension,as well as the boundaries between non-literary and literary IP Films,and thus clarifies the main body of the research of this article.This is the cornerstone of this topic.Based on this,three characteristics of non-literary IP Films are proposed: the integration and linkage of media,the consumption of content production,and the popularity of artistic aesthetics,highlighting the explicit representation of its existence.Secondly,the appearance of non-literary IP Films shares complex social factors.The intrinsic driving forces of industry,Internet background,consumer culture context,market demand and other forces have spawned such emerging phenomenon.This is an inevitable evolution of industrial ecology under the development of the times.Thirdly,non-literary IP Films which is based on the emerging Internet eco-environment have had a tremendous impact on every aspect of the domestic film industry chain.This article not only illustrates the changes brought about by production,marketing,and market extension,but also interprets the operation strategies and industrial mechanisms of the movie as a whole.Finally,through the study of the ontology,features,and operational mechanisms of the adaptation of non-literary IP Films,we realized that it brought new vitality and vigor to domestic movie industry.However,its development and evolution still have many problems and deficiencies,such as excessive consumption of brands and pan-entertainment of products.In view of its practical difficulties,this paper proposes three optimization measures:intensively pursuing high-quality IP Films,building a "domestic film universe," and consolidating industry norm,in the hope of providing some suggestions and references for the development of domestic films. |
