Edouard Manet is recognized by the public as an impressionist pioneer and founder.It is making the whole twentieth Century painting possible.The modernity of Manet makes his artistic creation into a new field,which is the reason why Manet became MANET.The reappearance of space in Western painting is the means to show the world,and it is also the focus of the painters in different periods to study the way of reproduction.Since 1860s,the modernist painting,which began from MANET,has made a breakthrough in the plane.The construction of visual space has led to a change in the way of viewing.How to look at the position of the viewer has gradually become a hot spot of discussion.This paper is mainly divided into five parts:the first part describes the nineteenth Century Paris modern appearance.And under the influence of the social environment,as a modern "people",MANET transitive his artistic concerns;the second part is a detailed analysis of his painting works.Using the comparative method of research,by comparison with literature Renaissance art works,it analysis modernist painting "space" reproduction of the origin and development;the third part further discusses his painting of modern art features,from a practical point of view,thinking the viewing of audience of modern painting is different from the traditional;the fourth part is a comparative analysis of Georges Bataille,Michel Foucault and Michael Fried to on the viewer's viewing in Manet's paintings,to reveal the status of MANET in modern art and the core of the modernity;the fifth part analyzes and compares modernist paintings,and then reflects on modernity,so as to approach the reality of art.
