As the center of the individual psychological universe, self is an important part of individual personality.Self-recognition,as the core of self, plays a basic role in the self-structure.Self-consciousness emotions are subjective experiences of a individual based on self-cognition,and self-efficacy is the regulator of individual behavior.Study 1 investigated the characteristics of self-recognition,self-consciousness emotions, and self-behavior of senior high school students and their interrelationships among the three. In addition, since self is a holistic psychological structure, study 2 examined self-cognition's influence on self-consciousness emotions and self-efficacy of high school students by interfering in their self-congnition.In study 1,716 students from a high school were dispatched Wallace Self-concept Scale,Self Description Questionnaire,Feeling of Inadequacy Scale,Self-esteem Scale,Academic Self-efficacy Questionnaire and General Self-efficacy Scale, and 4170 valid questionnaires were collected.By independent sample t-test,the results showed that the influence of males on self-recognition,self-consciousness emotions and self-efficacy was higher than famales';and the influence of natural science was higher than liberal arts';the students' original place,an only child or not and left-behind experience were no significant effect on self-recognition,self-consciousness emotions and self-efficacy from the overall level, but there were impacts in their respective dimensions.Correlation analysis indicated that there were a significant positive pairwise correlations among self-recognition,self-consciousness emotions and self-efficacy.The IBM SPSS Amos 22.0 software was used to test the mediation effect, the test results showed that self-cognition had a complete mediation effect on self-consciousness emotions in self-efficacy.In order to further verify the rationality of the model constructed in Study 1 in practice, study 2 recruited 264 participants in study 1,of which 133 were in experimental groups and 131 were in control groups. The experimental group received a weekly group counseling lasting for about 2 months while the control group did not undergo any intervention. After the intervention in the experimental group was completed, the two groups were posttested with the scales in Study 1,and 1584 valid questionnaires were collected. The increasing scores on the self-concept and self descripiton scales showed significant differences between the experimental group and the control group,so did the self-esteem scale, the self-esteem scale, the general self-efficacy scale and the academic self-efficacy scale. The main results of the study suggested that there are differences in self-recognition,self-consciousness emotions and self-efficacy among genders, majors and other demographic variables. All the levels showed that boys were higher than girls, science students are higher than liberal arts students;self-cognition impacted self-counsciousness emotions through self,to take a weakening or enhancing effect on self-efficacy;self-cognitive group intervention could increase the level of self-cognition,and this promotion effect affected self-efficacy through self-consciousness emotions.
