The self consists of three components: individual self, relational self, and group self. Many studies have found that individuals not only have self-referencing effects, but also further incorporate intimacy and their subgroups into self-concept.In general, the individual’s social and cultural environment will affect the individual’s self. From the past literature on self-referencing effects, scholars have paid more attention to the effects of culture between the East and the West on individual self. Some scholars focus on the role of ideology of ethnic minorities(lifestyles, factors, and forms)on individual self-referencing effects,or on group reference effects. However, few studies have distinguished religious culture from general culture and studied it individually.Tibetan groups are an inseparable part of our nation. Not only are there a large number of people, but also ancient peoples in China and even in South Asia have been profoundly influenced by Buddhism and Bonism in the long history of national formation.A unique culture has gradually taken shape. In recent years, with the rapid development of social and cultural integration, more and more Tibetan adolescents have come to study in Hanzi in pursuit of their own development,or have come to Handi with their parents’ work. This has caused them to face social changes, cultural adaptation, etc.Problems on the front, mental growth, physical maturity, and cultural integration have made Tibetan adolescents experience major changes.Studying the characteristics of self-concept of Tibetan adolescents under different cultural backgrounds helps us understand the impact of self-development and cultural background on our self.It can provide us with theoretical guidance in reducing ethnic prejudice and improving inter-ethnic relations and further promote national integration.Harmonious with society. Therefore, this study has important psychological and sociological significance and can promote the fusion of Tibetan and Chinese culture and national unity. This study aims to use the R/K paradigm of self-referencing effects to explore the influence of different age groups and cultural environments of Tibetan adolescents on their self-concept.This study mainly discusses from the following perspectives:1.Through the R/K paradigm,it is explored whether the self-reference effect, the reference effect of religious figures, and the reference effect of mothers are reflected in Tibetan youth groups, and whether religious figures have entered their self-concept.The experimental results show that there are self-referencing effects, maternal reference effects and reference effects of religious figures.2.Through the R/K paradigm, study whether the influence of religious figures on the self of Tibetan adolescents is different from that of their mothers.Whether different religious figures have differences in the self of Tibetan adolescents, that is,whether these figures have differences in their self-concepts..The experimental results show that the influence of religious figures on Tibetan adolescents’ self is partly different from that of their mothers.Different religious figures have difference in Tibetan adolescent self, and different religious figures have different stability in their individual self-schema.3.Discuss the influence of different age groups and different cultural environments on the self-concept of Tibetan adolescents. The experimental results show that the cultural background has influence on the referential effect of the participants, and self-development and culture interact. |
