In the framework of Chinese prepositions,“Zai……shang” is a frame structure with high frequency and is also the focus in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.“On,in,over”,which have the highest use rate of corresponding forms in English expression, are supported by grammaticalization theory, contrastive analysis theory, three plane theory and second language acquisition theory, combined with diachronic description and synchronic description, statistics and analysis methods of data research, etc. On the basis of the syntactic, semantic and pragmatic functions of “on,in and over”,this paper makes a comparative analysis on the use of teaching materials in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and puts forward some suggestions for teaching in the classroom. From the dynamic and static point of view, this paper makes a summary of the diachronic period of “Zai …shang”,based on Huang Borong and Liao Xudong's Modern Chinese as a basis for the summary of the synchronic meaning of "Zai" and an example analysis. On this basis, through the ancient books and literature review of the preposition framework “Zai……shang” diachronic development study has been carried out in order to enter the prepositional framework. The composition is described.Secondly, from sentence function, semantic function and pragmatic function to “Zai … shang” Compared with “on,in,over”,the comparative analysis shows that both of them can be used as adverbial components in syntactic function, but in English expression,“in,on,over” can not be subject to the subject, and there are other differences in other components. In the form of “on,in,and over”,the expression of English preposition can all express space meaning, conditional meaning, aspect meaning and scope meaning. It not only has similarities and differences in the two languages of English and Chinese, but also has the same problems in the English system. The article makes a comparative analysis of these similarities and differences. In pragmatics,Both “on” and “in”have the functions of causing topics and enumerating, but “over” does not enumerate functions. Finally, based on the results of comparative analysis, with the support of the theory of second language acquisition,we further “Zai…shang” preposition framework has put forward some suggestions in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Chinese teachers should make use of the comparative analysis methods and results to promote students' understanding andacquisition of Chinese in Chinese teaching. In the classroom teaching,we should use a variety of teaching methods in order to improve the efficiency of classroom teaching.
