Self disclosure is an important way for the communication between the individual and the world,and is essential in the process of individual growth.Self disclosure can influence the social adaptation of individuals.If a person wants to have good social adjustment,he must make positive self disclosure and communicate effectively with the external environment.However,middle school students are in puberty,which has the characteristics of interlocking in this period,which reduces the level of self disclosure of middle school students and hinders the development of social adaptation.Therefore,we should enhance the level of self disclosure to improve social adaptability.This research used Zou Hong's Self Disclosure Questionnaire and Social Adaptation Questionnaire as the research tool.1550 students from Seventh Middle School in Yanji city as subjects,knowing the situation of self disclosure,social adaptation and the relationship between them of middle school students.The study mainly used independent sample T test,single factor analysis of variance and correlation analysis,etc.Draw conclusions and make suggestions:(1)Middle school students' self disclosure level is low.The degree of self disclosure of middle school students from high to low are interest,learning,school experience,intimate friendship,opinion attitude,physical development and parent-child relationship.The level of self disclosure of middle school students are differences in gender,grade and mother's cultural level,The choice of self disclosure objects are significant differences in gender and grade.The choice sequence of self disclosure objects is the best homosexual friends more than the best friends of the opposite sex,more than ordinary friends.(2)The level of social adaptation of middle school students is generally low.The level of social adaptation of middle school students from high to low are interpersonal adaptation,environmental adaptation,self adaptation and behavior adaptation.The social adaptation level of middle school students are differences of gender,grade,nationality and cultural level of parents.(3)There is a significant positive correlation between self disclosure and social adaptation of middle school students.(4)Self disclosure has a positive predictive effect on social adaptation,the social adaptation level of high self disclosure group is higher than the social adaptation level of low self disclosure group.The dimensions of self disclosure have a significant predictive effect on prosocial tendencies in social adaptation.Suggest:(1)Assess the level of self disclosure,expand one' s interests and take an active part in group activities;improve their self confidence and self disclosure skills;Improve the way of interpersonal communication,and learn to trust others.(2)Teachers should help students to understand themselves correctly,to please themselves,to promote their self adaptation,to strengthen the education of the efficiency of the students,and to strengthen the control of themselves to improve their efficiency.(3)Parents should choose warm and democratic upbringing ways,and students should actively communicate with their parents.(4)Through self disclosure,promote good peer relations,enhance cohesion among peers,and enhance prosocial tendencies.
