A Study On Du Guangting's Tidao Method

Du Guangting is a representative figure of Taoism in the late Tang and Five Dynasties.He has a tremendous influence on the development of Taoism at that time and later.He has rich writings throughout his life including Taoist philosophy,Taoist theory,Taoist ritual and literature,calligraphy,medicine,history,geography,music and many other fields.This article takes Du Guangting's Tidao method as the focus,and discusses the path and external form of his Tidao method.This article is divided into three parts except introduction and conclusion.The first part clarifies Du Guangting's core points about Tidao and combs his Tidao life,explaining the reasons for his Tidao approach;The second part discuss the rationale for Du Guangting's Tidao method and explains his thinking and connotation of Tidao method;The third part explains the external form of Du Guangting's Tidao method and explains his Tidao form.The epilogue revolves around Du Guangting's Tidao method to explain his transitional significance of the history of Taoism.
