The Research Of Zhao Daoyi And Lishi Zhenxian Tidao Tongjian

Lishizhenxiantidaotongjian was compiled by Zhao Daoyi who was a Taoist priest cultivated himself according to a religious doctrine in The Emperor Longevity Temple on Fuyun Mountain at the end of the Song Dynasty or the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty.It is constitutive of 64 volumes,includes main body,sequel and postscript.It records 899 immortals from the ancient times to the Yuan Dynasty.It's the most extensive one in Taoist immortal biographies of Song,Jin,Yuan Dynasty nowadays.The period of Song,Jin,Yuan Dynasty was a very important tuning point for the progress of immortal biographies.Under the influence of secularization and complication,Zhao Daoyi's ideas became the only one of its kind.For this reason,to research on Lishi zhenxian tidao tongjian seems really important.The thesis is composed of foreword and three chapters.In Chapter one,on the basis of choreographies and collection of poems and articles written by authors of Jiangxi Province,explore Zhao Daoyi's life story,with the addition of Lishi zhenxian tidao tongjian of Yuan Dynasty and the time node of lifting the ban of Quanzhen Daoism by Emperor Cheng of Yuan,to evolve Zhao Daoyi's political motivation and religious missions.In Chapter two,taking experience,immortals and Tao as keywords,analyze the immortals by spatial and temporal distribution,types and the ways they became immortals.In Chapter three,analyses the art features of Lishi zhenxian tidao tongjian,focus on Zhao Daoyi's autopsyche influenced by religious emotion,figure out the special literariness of Lishi zhenxian tidao tongjian and its irreplaceable status in phylogeny of immortal biography.
