The novel in Northern Shaanxi is a novel style written by shaanxi writers with the unique civilization form of Northern Shaanxi.Folk narrative is not only a narrative form of folk literature,but also a narrative activity under the special folk position of the writer.Since 1980,Northern Shaanxi writers based on the folk position,they entered and dialogue to the folk with the attitude of equality,and talked about folk stories by borrowing the form of the folk.They showed the readers the simple and old style of Northern Shaanxi and the strong northern Shaanxi power,and expressed writers’ the deep concern about the folk and humanistic spirit.This article is based on the "Folk Narrative" as the starting point to discuss the present situation of the novels in Northern Shaanxi since 1980,which are divided into the introduction and the five chapters.The introduction part first defines the related concepts of Northern Shaanxi novels,folk,folk stand,folk narrative and so on.Secondly,it introduces the research status quo and the specific methods of the study from two aspects,the Northern Shaanxi novels and Folk Narratives in 1980.Finally,the innovation and value of the topic are pointed out from the literature and the social level.The first chapter expounds the context of the folk standpoints of the Northern Shaanxi writers since 1980.This includes two aspects: firstly,the harsh natural environment,the influence of small-scale peasant economy and the political radiation of red base area form the cultural soil concerned with the folk in Northern Shaanxi.Secondly,the long history of folk literature in Northern Shaanxi and the intergenerational inheritance of Yanan literature have constructed the literary tradition of writing folk in Northern Shaanxi.The second chapter concretely discusses the folk theme writing of the Northern Shaanxi novels from the three aspects of the suffering writing,the writing of entrepreneurship and the writing of love.Due to the geographical location of occlusion,Northern Shaanxi brought multiple hardships to the Northern Shaanxi people.In the barren natural environment,the frontier fortress brought survival difficulties.In the complex social environment,the military town led to life turbulence.In the face ofdogged by bad luck situation in life,the people in the north of Shaanxi to hard for a living,they go beyond suffering to the extraordinary will.The people of Northern Shaanxi business history,or stay in the Loess Plateau of the land as dependent on wealth,or leave home to "go west" in order to make a living,the two cross there.Love adds romance to the suffering and entrepreneurship of the people of Northern Shaanxi,and an unadorned love of wild freedom is the spiritual pillar of their suffering life.The third chapter analyzes the writing of folk plots in the novels of Northern Shaanxi since 1980.Because the Northern Shaanxi is located in the boundary zone of the agricultural civilization and nomadic civilization,folk psychology presents a mixture of the two.This is embodied in the following,in Northern Shaanxi people,both with honest and pragmatic rustic reality,with a generous romantic with the hero complex;they are called "poor people",and actively support and participate in the "North Shaanxi red alarm".Although they are poor and miserable,but they have a good life attitude,poor and not worry,pain and not worry.The fourth chapter expounds the folk narrative strategies of Northern Shaanxi novels since 1980 from three aspects of narrative perspective,folk literature and literature and literary style.First of all,the use of the omnipotent perspective of "the book of northern shaanxi" attracts readers to read the text;secondly,the original Northern Shaanxi folk novels,such as Xintianyou,Northern Shaanxi dialect and folk legends,shorten the distance between the readers and the text,and highlight the novels’ regional color and folk care of the writers;finally,due to the use of folk narrative strategy makes Northern Shaanxi novels show the literature style of loess plateau,which is rough and sad.And bring the aesthetic implication of the northwest wind and enjoy the writer and the reader.The fifth chapter makes a dialectical view of the significance and lack of the folk narration in the novels of Northern Shaanxi since 1980 in order to promote its better development.Its significance is to guide the cultural confidence by inheriting the folk culture of Northern Shaanxi and carrying forward the spirit of Yanan.Its artistic value is mainly embodied in the realization of the true folk narrative through the use of regional dialects and the selection of folk literature and art.But it has caused the lack of reality inthe text content,embodied in the objective presentation of non choice and the single artistic technique.The concluding part summarizes and reflects on the selected topic of folk narratives in Northern Shaanxi since 1980,and puts forward the prospect for further research on novels in Northern Shaanxi.
