The Development And Evolution Of China's Cultural Construction Since The Reform And Opening Up

In recent years,cultural development issues have received wide attention from countries around the world.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,our party has paid special attention to the issue of cultural construction.This is not only related to the development of the domestic and international situation,but also inseparable from the practice of our country's culture.As the world competition intensifies,Western capitalist countries pay more and more attention on the control of ideology and the export of values.The people's desire for a better life is largely reflected in the demand for a cultural spirit.In this background,how China responds to the challenge of Western cultural output and establishes a cultural construction path suited to our own development has been the subject of exploration by the Chinese communists in theory and in practice.This study is based on the thinking of China's cultural construction since the reform and opening up,and strives to tease out the stage characteristics of China's cultural construction and explains the development logic of China's cultural construction.This study uses a combination of keyword search and text analysis to analyze political reports.First,read through the reports and selected the keywords.After the search began,the rules were found,and political reports were used to verify it and draw three stages of cultural development in China.(1)Cultural construction oriented by spiritual civilization stage;(2)Cultural construction oriented by public culture stage;(3)Cultural construction oriented by Rejuvenate the traditional culture stage.On this basis,through reports analysis,it is concluded that the construction of spiritual civilization focuses on “asking for requirements” and that the construction of public culture focuses on “meet the demands”.These two stages stand at the opposite sides of people.Then,the transition developed to the third stage,emphasizing the construction of traditional culture,mainly to meet the needs of the people's spiritual level and the need for value recognition,that is,"emphasize the spirit".It can be seen that the essence of the three cultural construction stages is that after the people's cultural needs have experienced changes these years,they have further developed to focus on the spiritual level.Based on a review of the three stages of our country's cultural construction and a summary of its essence,this article seeks to explore the logic of the evolution of China's cultural development.The exploration of this logical clue can provide support for the future direction of China's cultural construction.We use Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory and Huntington's cultural development model theory to analyze.When the explanation is based on the transformation of spiritual civilization construction to public cultural construction,the analysis mainly uses the Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory.Due to the need to meet the cultural needs of people,the cultural construction's focus has changed;When the orientation of public cultural construction was changed to the direction of revitalizing the traditional construction,it was mainly based on seeking answers from the Huntington cultural development model.According to Huntington's argument,there are five kinds of development models for cultural construction in the world,which arise from the different responses to the West,and with the continuous advancement of the modernization process,the non-westernization and the revival of local culture will eventually emerge.In this sense,it explains the upsurge of China's traditional cultural renaissance in recent years.In the end,it was pointed out that the root of these two transitions was the development of the economy,which was in line with the economic foundation and decided the principles of the superstructure.Since the reform and opening up,the development of cultural construction has followed the logic of expanding from the micro level to the macro level,from satisfying individual needs to establishing collective identity.
