The Spirit Of Traditional Folk Culture In Chengdu And The Sustainable Development Of Harmonious Community

Based on the general concept of a harmonious community, this paper claries the notion of improving community services to meet the basic needs, strengthening the building of spiritual civilization needs to raise the level of residents'needs, and describes the necessity of realizing the sustainable development of harmonious community in both the material cultural development and the spiritual civilization by analyzing the content and specific requirements. This paper also proves the sustainability of a harmonious community is implicated in the co-ordination and fully development between the two civilizations.Through twenty years of development, the construction of community already has a material basis and a development model with local characteristics in many parts of the country's, which confirms the fact that during the construction of a harmonious community the construction of material civilization played a huge role. It also notes that the current community construction, as the result of lacking attention to the role of spiritual civilization, is featured with a series of problems. By further analyzing the material civilization and spiritual civilization interaction, this paper points out that material civilization can be converted into the spiritual one and spiritual civilization can not only contribute to the development of material civilization but also inhibit people's desire for material life. Therefore, the orientation of spiritual civilization should be accurately posited in the construction of a harmonious community and should further strengthen the building of spiritual civilization.China's traditional culture, as Chinese people's great wealth, is conceived in the course of the long history. Combining the good moral characters of the ancient with the cultivation of human qualities by exploring the development of modern society in traditional cultural essence can effectively promote the construction of spiritual civilization. Chengdu traditional culture originated in folk custom as a treasure of traditional Chinese culture. This paper focuses on the meaning of the traditional folk culture in Chengdu and its own sustainability, as well as its significant importance to the building of spiritual civilization. The article also excavates the classic traditional folk culture of Chengdu comprised of three main forms:food, tea, and travel. Those three forms are adhering to the essence of traditional folk culture of Chengdu and are not only the three most common ways of communication used by people in Chengdu but also the basic elements in the daily life of people here. People achieve mutual exchange and in-depth communication between the broad purposes through the experience of those details. By analyzing the unique position of these three cultures in the daily lives of residents in Chengdu, the neutralization thought and leisure philosophical understanding in traditional culture of Chengdu is put forward. This paper proposes the use of affordable and tasteful diet to create a closely harmonious communities in order to promote harmony between people; the use of tea culture leisure space and cultural heritage platform to create a harmonious leisure community to promote harmony between people and the society and the use of travel and cultural exchanges and "back to nature" characteristics to create a harmonious ecological communities to promote harmony between human and the nature. At the end of this paper, by making the fullest use of unique strength of Chengdu folk traditional culture, combining it with harmonious society spiritual cultural construction and by adopting a series of methods to embody those three classic manifestations of Chengdu folk traditional culture, the author discussed how to realize the goal of common development and coordinated development between the two cultural constructions and further to achieve the goal of sustainable development in harmonious society.
