From Historical Authenticity To Cultural Authenticity:the Study On The Cultural Value Of Hancheng Ancient City

Since the late 1970 s,with the general awakening of local public awareness,the historical value dominated by experts in the system of heritage value gradually given way to the cultural value with more local cultural spirit;at the same time,the most important criterion of heritage value has changed,and the authenticity of heritage has changed from historical authenticity to cultural authenticity.Behind the change of concept is the great change of heritage protection practice.After the reform and opening up,China's industrialization and urbanization have been rapidly expanded,and the country's heritage protection and international contacts have been gradually strengthened.During this period,the practice of heritage protection shows: heritage value diversity,heritage type diversification and heritage features dematerialization,heritage management socialization,heritage subject localization.Due to domestic backward heritage protection concept and social condition gradually complicated,heritage conservation in "unprecedented attention and unprecedented crisis",this phenomenon is largely due to inadequate domestic heritage value research.The cultural value can be traced back to the concept of "cultural importance" in the 1979 "bala charter".Since its emergence,this concept has had a profound impact on the international heritage protection.And this concept is in the domestic laws and regulations in the guidance document first appeared in 2015 "Chinese cultural relics protection criterion","rules" of cultural value is more similar to the type of heritage value;Now domestic heritage among the cultural value is still more than take simple "copycat" or with a mixture of historical value,as if the meaning of a self-evident,but it is lack of understanding of the new connotation of the concept of value,this kind of situation has also led to cultural values at home without a guide.This paper tries to discuss the concept of cultural value through the analysis of the historical and practical aspects of heritage conservation.First of all,based on the history of the world heritage protection,the paper analyzes the history of the heritage value concept in different periods,summarizes the protection of cultural value is associated with diversification of heritage types and the protection of subjectivity,and the place is inseparable.Second,the paper analyzes the concept connotation and characteristics of historical value,utilitarian value and intellectual value in heritage protection and utilization,and from the practice of heritage protection,it discusses the different impacts of different heritage value concepts on heritage protection,and then proposes that multiple value conflicts are the great challenge of the protection of heritage in the world today.It demonstrates that the human nature and comprehensiveness of cultural value help solve the dilemma of heritage protection.Finally,the paper draws on the concept of cultural space and divides the ancient city into ecological,productive,ritual,and living cultural spaces.With the aid of local historical records and folklore historical records,the ancient city's cultural space content is analyzed from the historical and overall perspective.On this basis,the cultural value of the ancient city of Hancheng is summarized and exploratory suggestions are made on the protection of the ancient city.
