A Study On Ding Shaoguang’s Painting

Ding Shaoguang is one of the representative painters of “Yunnan school of painting”,also distinguished from China to the globe,which determines its painting nationality and cosmopolitan,contains full-bodied local flavor and has a well-known international influence.In this paper,Ding shaoguang and his paintings are studied from four aspects,on the basis of full possession,analysis and research data.In the introduction part,the author explained the reasons for the topic,and summarized the relevant research and results of the academic research on Ding shaoguang,and clarified the method,purpose and significance of the study on Ding shaoguang painting.The first chapter introduces the personal experience and artistic style of Ding shaoguang,and teases out the creating career diachronically.Ding Shaoguang teacher,yunnan region,American life as well as the influence of Chinese traditional culture are from different sides to shape the overall style of their paintings.The second chapter aims to classify and discuss the themes and thoughts of Ding shaoguang painting.Nature and women are common themes in his paintings.The main theme of Ding shaoguang’s painting is to depict and show the natural theme of yunnan’s regional landscape and the female theme of the feminine image with gentle introversion.On the one hand,it shows the infinite longing and love for the natural scenery of Ding shaoguang.On the other hand,it clarifies the author’s free vision of politics and shows the people’s desire of the beautiful life.The third chapter excavates the artistic characteristic and the artistic thought of Ding shaoguang’s painting.Combining with specific works,this paper discusses the heavy color of painting,particularly the color application of "blue" as the main tone of the painting.It also analyzes the distinctive features of "Two-layer form" with foreground and background.The image of "Flying" has been studied in the background.The fourth chapter is about the commercial of Ding shaoguang’s works.Ding Shaoguang "silkscreens" has had a huge impact on international,this with the aid of mechanical reproduction and mass distribution business model not only makes the Ding Shaoguang accumulated wealth,more important is to make it have a great influencein the art market.The success of this business model is inextricably linked to its keen eye,business operations,peace,and mass culture.
