The Beidahuang prints are an important school in our country.Beidahuang printmaking is different from other printmaking in creation technique and subject matter.Beidahuang printmaking works mainly focus on the natural scenery of Beidahuang and the laboring life of the young people in the countryside.Changed the artistic expression of Chinese woodcut with black and white as the main color,More use of color as the main means of modeling,enhanced the art appeal of color prints,created a new pattern of modern print style in our country.Zheng Zijiang is the third generation of Beidahuang printmaker,his works have iconic characteristics,which also makes him unique in the Beidahuang printmaking.He has always been lucky to be associated with art.He never slacked off on his creation,which also enabled him to grasp the opportunity exactly when it came.His mimeograph woodcut works were divided into three series because of their different orientations.Each series has its typical characteristics.Summed up their own mimeograph color woodcut techniques,and is still in the process of exploration.This article begins with the premise of Mr.Zheng Zijiang's life background,combs the evolution process of each period's style,and explores and analyzes its series of styles.This paper attempts to discuss the evolution of the relationship between techniques and the application of colors,and to analyze the significance of Zheng Zi Jiang oil printing and coloring woodcut to the inheritance of the Beidahuang prints and the inspiration to other creators of prints.
