"Han Xizai Evening Banquet" Look From Gu Hong Composition Of Spatial Transformation

Both Chinese and western paintings are extremely careful with the layout.The layout of the Chinese paintings is also called the position management in which the space transition plays a critical role in displaying the artistic space of Chinese paintings as a fundamental part.In history,a number of outstanding traditional Chinese paintings showed smart space transition skills in position management,therefore,for traditional Chinese paintings,it's critical to do research on its space transition in the position management.This paper studies the subject in a systematic way mainly based on Han Xizai Evening Banquet by Gu Hong as well as other Chinese and western outstanding works.This paper consists of seven main parts including the introduction,the space layout of traditional Chinese paintings,the importance of space layout of Chinese paintings shown in Han Xizai Evening Banquet by Gu Hong,the diversity of space layout of Chinese paintings in Han Xizai Evening Banquet by Gu Hong,the space transition of traditional Chinese paintings in Han Xizai Evening Banquet by Gu Hong,the variety of space transition shown in Chinese and western paintings and the conclusion.This research covers the following subjects: the method of three long-sightedness and the art of blank space in traditional Chinese paintings as well as the traditional arts applied in Han Xizai Evening Banquet by Gu Hong,which are the host and the guest,the density,the virtual reality,the cavalier perspective,the combination of dynamics and statics,space above time in the space transition,the life changes with the scene shift,the screen segmentation of space transition,the optical illusion of screen phenomenon,the plot changes with the space transition,the subtle changes of characters' expressions,the space transition realized by screen segmentation,background segmentation and the changes of plots as well as the importance of the changes of characters' expressions to the space transition.This paper elaborates the space layout of Chinese paintings,the importance of space transition,the ingenious composition and the smart use of space transition in Han Xizai Evening Banquet by Gu Hong and the various display of space transition in Chinese and western paintings.The paper studies the space transition in the two different systems of Chinese and western paintings on the basis of the comparison to Chinese and western masterpieces.
