Abstract/Summary:
The development of Confucius Institutes is in full swing,and the demand for quality and effective Chinese teaching in Thailand has always existed.The practice of immersive Chinese teaching at the Confucius Institute at Mae Fah Luang University was a creative attempt in the Thai region.After investigation and research,we finally defined it as semi-immersive Chinese teaching.Through field investigation,literature research,questionnaire survey,classroom observation,data analysis and other methods,combined with the specific practical process of the immersive Chinese teaching of the Confucius Institute and the investigation and analysis of the practical effects,this thesis finally obtained a targeted practice report.This article investigates and analyzes the curriculum settings,the immersive environment,and the classroom teaching process of the Confucius Institute at Mae Fah Luang University,combined with the development of the Confucius Institute in Thailand and the demand for the development of Chinese language teaching in Thailand.Through the investigation and analysis of students’ learning effects both inside and outside class,this thesis concludes that students hold an overall positive attitude towards the immersion Chinese language teaching they receive;then,according to the analysis,some suggestions for improving students’ learning effects are put forward.The article concludes that students are in a state of overall satisfaction by investigating the student’s effectiveness.Through the analysis of the results of immersive classes and regular classes,the results of immersive class students are obviously better than regular classes in all aspects,but they show an unstable trend in the later period and need teachers to pay attention to them.After investigation and analysis,it was found that the immersion Chinese language teaching implemented by the Confucius Institute has achieved a good overall learning effect.Moreover,students’ satisfaction with the curriculum is high,but also in the implementation of teaching materials and curriculum,teacher and teaching modes.It has a shortpart.This article puts forward corresponding suggestions in conjunction with investigations,and hopes to provide reference for the development of Chinese teaching at the Confucius Institute and for the development of immersive Chinese teaching in Thailand,and to provide more practical reference for the Chinese teachers who follow up.The innovation of this thesis is based on the first-hand data,the investigation and analysis of the immersive Chinese teaching practice of the Confucius Institute at Mae Fah Luang University in Thailand,and the practical application of immersion teaching in the Thai region through field investigation.Since immersive Chinese language teaching is still in the exploratory stage in Thailand,the study has promoted the development of Chinese teaching in Thailand and promoted the concept of immersive Chinese teaching.
