The Study On Time Adverbs Of Youyang Zazu

The adverb of time is an important subcategory of Chinese adverbs.It has high frequency of use and its application is very complicated.Youyang Zazu is a note style novel written by Duan Chengshi in Tang Dynasty.It has a strong oral language and can basically reflect the language appearance at that time.It is a precious material for grammar research in the Tang Dynasty.This article examines 132 adverbs of time appearing in the Youyang Zazu,through more detailed classification,analysis,induction and summary,in order to reveal the overall appearance and language features of the adverb of time in Youyang Zazu.This thesis consists of the following parts:The first is the introduction.Explain the reasons for the selection of the paper,briefly introduce the author Duan Chengshi and Youyang Zazu,introduce the research status of Youyang Zazu and the research ideas and research methods of this article.The first chapter is an introduction to the adverb of time in Youyang Zazu.This chapter first discussed the definition and classification of temporal adverbs.Then,with reference to Mr.Zhang Yisheng's "three levels,four angles" view,the book adverbs of time are divided into four major categories:indicated-tense adverb,indicated-aspect adverb,indicated-frequency adverb,indicated-order adverb.The following categories are subdivided into different subcategories.The time adverbs of Youyang Zazu are presented first.Chapters 2 through 5 focus on a more comprehensive and meticulous examination of the adverbs of time in the Youyang Zazu.Analyzing the semantic features and syntactic functions of adverbs at each time,and citing examples in the book,these four chapters outline the overall appearance of the adverb of time in this book,which is the main body of this article.Chapter 6 examines the origin and development of the adverb of time in the Youyang Zazu.The adverb of time in Youyang Zazu are divided into simple adverbs and synthetic adverbs according to structure,and their sources and developments are examined respectively.The sources of adverbs of simple adverbs are mainly via nouns,adjectives,verbs,and numerals and quantifiers by blurring.The synthesizing time adverbs are the combination of the two morphemes and the two forms of wordbuilding.The long-term use of the adverb is continuously solidified.The seventh chapter compares the Youyang Zazu with Mencius(??)and Yanshi Jiaxun(????)to find out the changes and characteristics of the time adverbs reflected in the historical development process.Chapter 8 proposes several special phenomena of adverbs of time in the book,including asymmetric phenomena,subjective phenomena,homologous repulsion and competition,low-frequency phenomena,and dual-backlash phenomena.Reflecting the rule of language development,we combine the examples in the book and use grammar theory to explain.Chapter 9,Conclusion.In this part we summarize the research we have done.
