| Language is the chief means of communication between human beings.Nowadays,with globalization,there is an increasing need for everyone to be bilingual.The mastery of several languages is an asset to those who speak them.Some languages are of particular importance.This is the case of Chinese spoken worldwide and which has integrated the education system of almost every country.Began at the Chinese Cultural Center of Benin since 1989 and despite some development problems encountered,the learning Chinese has come to a new level after a few years of the founding of Confucius Institute of the University of Abomey-Calavi of Benin.At present,there are many academic achievements in the study of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Africa.However,there is almost no research on the selection of Chinese teaching in Benin.This article selects the current situation of Chinese teaching in Benin as an object of study and analyzes in depth the Chinese teaching in Benin.Development of environmental factors and teaching factors.The article conducted a multi-angle investigation of Benin’s Chinese teaching situation through literature research,survey questionnaires and interviews.The first chapter of the article is an introduction,mainly explaining the origin of the study and the significance of the topic,the study of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the literature,research contents and research methods related to the teaching and promotion of Chinese language in Africa.The second chapter focuses on Benin’s country profile and Chinese language teaching survey.The third chapter mainly investigates and analyzes the learning status of Chinese learners in Benin.The fourth chapter systematically analyzes the problems existing in Benin’s Chinese teaching.The problems in Chinese teaching in this area mainly lie in teaching resources and Chinese teachers.The fifth chapter is mainly based on the questions raised in Chapter Ⅳ.It addresses the problems in Beninese Chinese teaching and puts forward thinking and suggestions for solving the problems in the development of Chinese teaching,such as enriching teaching resources and Chinese learning materials,and improving curriculum settings.Some countermeasures to enhance teachers’ strength. |
