With the development of Internet technology,efficiency has been improved in all fields,including the learning field,and the operation model of each field has been offered new possibilities.Against the background of modern technology and learning resources,in order to explore a way to improve learning effectiveness,this thesis studies a learning model practiced by the first-year MTI postgraduates in the course of consecutive interpreting of Professor Lai in a university.Based on the Production-Oriented Approach and Flipped Classroom,an open learning model is creatively explored in high-end learning field.At the same time,in accordance with Constructivism Learning Theory,the open learning model makes use of new technology platforms,such as the Internet,WeChat Group,WeChat Public Account.Preparation and presentation of simulated speeches and related consecutive interpreting are implemented in class and out of class.Through the analysis of the model's evaluation scale,this study discovers that the open learning model can obviously promote the logical thinking for interpreting,improve the exchange and interaction between the professor and postgraduates,facilitate the internalization of knowledge and skills,and also optimize the experience of learning atmosphere.Through the correlation matrix analysis of the evaluated items,this study identifies two more findings:(1)improving the on-the-spot reaction ability and the psychological quality is highly correlated with deepening the internalization and experience of interpreting knowledge and skills;(2)expanding the background knowledge beyond the textbooks is markedly correlated with enhancing students' logical thinking and critical thinking ability.Further discussion and analyses demonstrate that the open learning model explored in this thesis is essentially consistent with the characteristics of deep learning,for which reason the open learning model leads the learning of interpreting skills to that of general skills,which include the abilities of communication,problem solving,teamwork,information processing,and critical thinking,etc.These general skills are exactly the skill demands for talents against the background of globalization and digitization in the new era.The study of this thesis provides concrete experience for the future learners,teachers and researchers,and also offers a new practical reference to reform in the educational field in the new era.
