The Annotating Of Chenzao's Lexuan Collections

Chen Zao,named Yuan Jie,with another name Le Xuan,was bom in Fu Zhou which belongs to Fujian Province today.He was a prominent personage of the southeast rationalistic Confucian philosophical school named "Ai Xuan School".Chen Zao was foiled in the imperial examinations and sufferred from poverty in his lifetime.he studied in Hong Quan Academy when he was a teenager,and travelled in the southeast and southwest regions in his middle age.When he was old,he lived in Fu Qing and made a living by farming and teaching.His whole life is a fight against poverty and vagrancy,but his temperament is straight and accessible optimism.He has great achievements in Neo-Confucianism,literature and education,and has a great influence in Fujian.Chen Zao has a literature works calls "Lexuan collections",which contains his poetry more completely.In the absence of his life record and loss of monographs of Neo-Confucianism,these poems and texts have become important data for the study of his life,thoughts and achievements.Besides,his work has a high literature value and literary value.However,at present,the scholars' research on Chen Zao and his"Le Xuan Collections" is still very light and fragmented,so it is necessary to conduct further research on it.The research of this paper is divided into two parts.In the literary part,through the records of "Lexuan collections"contents and local chronicles,we analyze and study Chen Zao's master's homegate,lifge and writings,the logical characteristics reflected in the poems and texts,as well as the ideas of Neo-Confucianism,life,education,etc.For the "Lexuan collections",proceeding from the text,analyzing the poetry,the subject matter content and artistic features of the artcle,and showing its value.Annotation section,we use the SiKu version as the major version,with the Complete Poems of Song and the Complete Works of Song collection supplemented by the Yongle Canon,trying to complete the restoration of "exuan collections".At the same time,Discrimination the allusions,characters,official positions and systems in the works.Through the above interpretation study,we expect to have a more comprehensive in-depth and scientific understanding of Chen Zao.This has further promoted the social and natural conditions in Fujian,Guangxi,especially the regional culture.
