It wasn’t long time ago since saxophone touched down on Chinese land,and it has rooted in this exotic soil for the past 50 years.Thanks to the popularity of education and the ease of studying abroad,there have sprung up substantial excellent saxophone performers and educators during this period.However,there are few composers who specialize in the creation of saxophone composition.Among the saxophone grading books in the past,there were indeed works that were performed in saxophone,such as "Fishing Singing Night" and "Spring Moon Night".However,these works were not made exclusively for saxophones,but were derived from adaptations of other tracks.The "Chinese rhapsody No.3" by Huang Anlun is a work dedicated to saxophone that has contributed to the development of Chinese saxophone music and has played an important role in Chinese saxophone works.In this article,the saxophone work "Chinese rhapsody No.3" is taken as the object of study.It focuses on the in-depth analysis and demonstration of the music and performance,and makes multidimensional analysis,induction,summarization from many aspects such as its creative background,artistic features,and performance techniques,etc.This article also digs into the performance value of the work with a unique perspective and mode of thinking from the performer’s point of view,hoping to provide valuable reference for future generations when playing the song.The paper comprises of three chapters:The first chapter mainly introduces the author’s life and achievement,and analyzes in depth the creative background of "Chinese rhapsody No.3" and the author’s creative idea in creating the song.This paves the way for further analysis of the entire song.The second chapter introduces the artistic features of the saxophone works "Chinese rhapsody No.3" in detail,and elaborates on the two aspects of the music’s ontology and the nationalized language.The analysis of the characteristics of music ontology is mainly based on three aspects: the composition of the work,the harmony,and the orchestration.This paper discusses the linguistic features of "Chinese rhapsody No.3" from the aspects of ethnic tones in the melody,the imitation of the timbres of the folk instruments,and the band accompaniment of "Chinese and Western" fusion.Through the analysis of the artistic featuresof the works,it is hoped that the performers can have more in-depth experience and grasp the meaning of the works and better interpret the works.The third chapter is the analysis of the performance of " Chinese rhapsody No.3".Based on the analyses above,it summarizes the creative features of the works and explains in detail the performance of the five movements.Through the artistic connotation of the work and the performance analysis of the musical,which are handled from the perspective of performance,it strives to further explore the musical composition of the works.With the hope that this research could provide performance foundations and experience for performers. |
