The purpose of this study is to explore the dimensionality structure of junior school students' kindness under the background of Chinese socialist core values and to develop the scale of junior high school students' kindness,and to further understand the influence of parenting style and peer relationship on kindness.In this study,the theoretical dimensions of the kindness scale were determined by literature research,interviews,open-ended investigation and so on,and forming the initial questionnaire.Finally,through exploratory factor analysis to delete the items,five dimensions which are consistent with the theoretical concept: approachable,helpful,sympathetic,respect others and tolerance and understanding.Through the discussion of the remaining items and further analysis the project analysis based on the item response theory.The final formal questionnaire is obtained.This study uses the s-EMBU scale,Peer Relations scale and the kindness scale to explore the relationship among them.The results are as follows:(1)The scale of kindness consists of five dimensions: "Approachable","Helpful","Sympathetic relationship","Respect others" and "Tolerance and understanding".The reliability and validity of the scale are good and it can achieve the basic requirements of psychometrics.(2)The junior middle school students are kindness in general,and there are significant differences in whether the only child,grade,family origin,father,mother's education level and family economic income;There were significant differences in the educational level of mothers and family income;(3)There were significant differences in different dimensions of parental rearing style in grade variables;there were significant differences in nationality between mother's refusal and mother's overprotection;there was significant difference in mother's refusal in family origin and education level.There were significant differences in the economic level of the family between the mother and the mother,and there was no significant difference between the gender and the only child in each dimension of parental rearing style.(4)The overall situation of peer relationship of junior high school students is very good,and there are significant differences in nationality,single child,grade,mother's education level,family origin,economic level,gender and father's education level.(5)There was a significant negative correlation between father's rejection and peer relationship,a significant positive correlation between father's emotional warmth and peer relationship,a significant negative correlation between father's emotional warmth and low friendliness,and a significant negative correlation between father's emotional warmth and low friendliness.There was a significant positive correlation between father rejection and low friendliness,and a significant negative correlation between peer relationship and low friendliness.(6)Father's refusal to reverse predict good peer relationship of junior high school students.The mother refused to predict positively the good peer relationship of junior high school students,and the mother refused to predict kindness in the reverse direction.Peer relationship can predict low kindness in a reverse direction,in which peer relationship can explain the variation of kindness 55.5%.(7)Mother emotional warmth and peer relationship play many mediating roles in father's emotional warmth and kindness.(8)The results of multi-group analysis show that gender plays a regulatory role in the friendly influence mechanism.
