| This paper begins with the studying the origin of symbolic language of Paul Klee.By referring to relevant literatures,the image analysis and the relevant theories of semiotics can be used to analyze the picture form,color language and inherent emotions of the works.First of all,this paper make an overview of the impact of Pompeii painting and Egyptian on the formation of the creational language.Secondly,according to the Cleveland characteristics in different periods of pictures and forms,the symbolic language of painting can be divided into geometric symbols,text symbols,signs and biology class four types of signs.And this paper combined the discuss of Kandinsky on dot,line face with a study of Cleveland image symbols.From his experience,research content and thought to analyze its sources and different symbols in each period contained in the work of significance,and emphasizes the significance of symbol content changing with the picture.On this basis,from Klee`s analysis of nature and thought of the universe to analyze the signs in his works on the nature and the phenomena of the universe.By focusing on analysis of the symbolic form of klee late work,then draws his artistic interpretation of life and death.Finally,through comparing the relationship between Cleveland`s creation and Chinese and western contemporary art from the macro and micro to find out the identity of Cleveland`s creative thinking and contemporary art.At the same time,discussed his views on the creation of the use of symbols in the painting to the influence of western contemporary painting art.So it also stressed that the symbol is not only the abstract expression of something,but also contain some intrinsic meaning in the artistic creation. |
