From the beginning of the 20th century, especially the period from 1909 to 1930,this article has the background of combing the development of the commercial areas in YANBIAN area in the early 20th century and studying the financial industry, international trade, transportation, communications, education and medical industries. The disputes between the two countries centering on the dominance of commercial land in YANBIAN area explored the particularity of the early development of YANBIAN commercial area.In 1907,the Qing government announced the opening of late spring to all countries as a place of business. In the same year,Japan also adopted the so-called"island problem" and accelerated the invasion of YANBIAN.After two years of diplomatic mediation between China and Japan,in 1909,China and Japan signed the"Tunisia Border Territory between China and South Korea",according to the terms of LONGJING,JUZIJIE,TOUDAOGOU,BAICAOGOU,etc. One after another began to open business. After the annexation of North Korea by Japan in 1910,the number of North Koreans who moved to China's YANBIAN area increased.Japan used the pretext of protecting "South Korea" as an excuse to continuously intensify its penetration of YANBIAN.The reason was nothing more than the occupation of YANBIAN.The YANBIAN region' s strategic location has enabled China and Japan to compete for control over the YANBIAN area for decades.During the period of the late Qing Dynasty and the early period of the Republic of China, many regions in China had already opened up trades, among which the northeastern region had a late start of business. After the repeal of the Northeast ban during the reign of Emperor GUANGXU,a large number of immigrants flooded into northeast China, and the Northeast entered a period of vigorous development. After the Russo-Japanese War,Japan and Russia signed a treaty agreement to delimit the boundary of the“North and South Manchu" sphere of influence. The YANBIAN region is adjacent to the Russian-DPRK border, makingthe social situation even more complicated.YANBIAN local governments havedefended the integrity of national sovereignty in YANBIAN through policies such as fiscal taxation, customs duties, police security, and health care.Japan has set up a consulate in the commercial area of YANBIAN,established the "Interstate Relief Association," the North Bank of Japan,LONGJING Post Office, opened schools and hospitals, and built telecommunications networks and railways.Through these institutions and public facilities, they attempted to infiltrate the entire YANBIAN area.In the decades of confrontation between China and Japan,Japan used the various methods of extraterritoriality, finance, international trade, transportation, communications, education, and medical care to buy people' s hearts, control YANBIAN community, expand the sphere of influence, and realize its“Continental policy”.After the Meiji Restoration,Japan became an imperialist country through modernization, accumulating a large amount of capital and science and technology.China is still in a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society and cannot effectively promote the accumulation of its national capital and the development of science and technology. The North Korean immigrant society in YANBIAN,which occupies the majority of the population, has just begun to take shape. In the face of Japan' s penetration in commercial areas in YANBIAN,the Chinese government has strived to defend its sovereignty and integrity.YANBIAN' s Korean immigrant society has also actively carried out anti-Japanese activities.Driven by the above-mentioned tripartite forces, the commercial area in YANBIAN area has been well developed, which has further promoted the early modernization of YANBIAN area.
